This app seems to be seriously broken. I have owned & used it since I bought my first Phev in 2016. However, after (inadvertently) updating it recently, the cell graph is giving gobbledygook values, and shows Cell heath as 'Failure?'. On the main screen, where it shows the Cell numbers that it is checking, cell numbers higher than 80 appear, which is clearly nonsense. In the graph, several cells are shown to be at 57.58 Volts! I have checked the values with a different app, and they all appear to be within normal values, around 4 Volts. Not impressed, considering that it was the most expensive app I have ever purchased.
Can't make it work..... Unistalling.. Worthless that it starts in emulation mode, I thought it was live... No way I'm going back to another city again to check the soh Update: OK, it might be a incompatible adapter (adapter works). I tried on 2 outlanders. I might be mixing up apps, but if memory serves it connected and showed some values, not all. Once it showed most values, but seemed to freeze after a while. Like only part of the battery values. Then some error toad messages with numbers.
Dont work seems it might be android OS ver
This app is fantastic. I went through all the menus and everything seemed to work. I bought the OBD Link LX not cheap but it worked really well. Top stuff Jeremy nice pice of software.
It does not work on My 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
Nice to know battery state in A/h however doesnt read error codes specifically phev related and/or clear them...can you include in update?
Nougat update made this apps zoomed in meaning only some dials can be seen because everything become larger. Please update.
I owned two OBD2 adapters off the compatible list. One the Jaycar wifi and the other from an eBay link on the recommended list. The latter works with Torque etc but never with EVBatMon. I finally have the Jaycar one working once. I didn't do anything but restart the app and it finally switched across to wifi instead of running in default demo mode.
Got the right hardware as recommended by a forum member that has this working. My phone will connect and work with Torque Pro, but not this app. Got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and android 6.x
Does what I really wanted it to do, which is to track individual cell health and overall battery performance. Another EV I have has had a couple of cells fail so I think it's worth checking.
